Women's Group
Sarasota Christian Church has an active ministry for ladies that
provides an avenue for friendship, encouragement and service.
Meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month at
12:30 pm in the fellowship hall, unless otherwise posted, and are open to
all the ladies of the church; we encourage your attendance and
participation.
Activities include "secret sisters;"
preparation of Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to bless
families in need; promotion of Lake Aurora Christian Camps' women's
retreat; planning of annual mother's day and father's day events; sending
of military and college care packages; planning of wedding and baby
showers; and provision of meals for new moms, funerals, shut-ins, work
days and men's prayer breakfasts.
