News and Events Calendar
Wally Parsley is once again leading an opportunity to
experience Focus on the Family's biblical worldview curriculum: The
Truth Project. This is a DVD-based small group study
featuring twelve one-hour lessons detailing God's design for living the
Christian worldview in daily life. Classes began April 20th,
meeting on Sunday nights at 7 pm in Room 135. Please contact Wally at 955-6374 for more information on this
transformational study.
Also, on May 18th our church family began the
Experiencing God study together. Books are on sale for $13 in the
foyer; SCC's small groups are doing
this study together, including several new groups (click the link for
times and locations).

Not sure where to serve? We need everything from publicity to set
design, Bible teaching to food and fun! What are you good at?
In what areas are you skilled? Consider your gifts and serve!
There are opportunities to help with: pre-registration and
registration, publicity, Preschool Playground, Action Leaders, Backyard
Bible, Clothesline Creations (crafts), Community Corner (real stories
about people in our community who serve), food and games, guides/teen
helpers, set design/window painters, and technical. For more

On Sunday, October 12th we will welcome DQ &
Beth Roberts of Christian
Riders Ministries to our Sunday services.
An SCC Leadership Retreat is scheduled for Friday
and Saturday, October 24th-25th at Lake Aurora.
A men's outdoorsmen's feast is scheduled for
Saturday, November 8th at 6 pm in the fellowship hall. Contact
